Language Resource Center

Did You Know?  The LRC is a specialized facility focused on serving the unique needs of students, faculty, and community members who teach and learn language(s), culture(s), and communication.  We specialize in technology-integration, student support for language learning, and second language writing assistance.

We are also a community of learners that offer support for the personal journey or discovery of the "other" and of oneself that is an essential part of the language learning process.  As such, we are a "safer space" for linguistic and cultural discovery and practice.  We welcome all students who speak another language, come from abroad, or simply have a love of languages or other cultures.  English is uncommon in our center, and we strive to support our students to feel comfortable "owning" their "otherness".

Have you "liked" our Facebook page yet? Want to get hints on great study resources and updates on upcoming LRC events? Like our Facebook page to stay in the loop!

We are currently operating under Summer hours.  Monday-Friday 8am-4 pm, with a half-hour lunch.  Appointments are encouraged but unnecessary.  Deanne, the Director, will happily meet with students, faculty and staff as needed.
