Golden Bear Village South

New for Spring 2016!

We are excited to announce that the Golden Bear Village South Computer/Study Lab is now open. Located in building 10, room 105, this new amenity provides 24 hour accessibility to residents living in Golden Bear Village South. This area features a mixture of MAC and Window based computers, collaboration rooms which include work stations with large TV display, adaptors to display any type of device (laptop, tablet, or smartphone), and large white board for jotting down notes.  In addition, there is free printing from any of the network computers located in the lab.  Residents who live in this area can access the lab by using their swipe cards.

 Golden Bear South is comprised of 8 buildings:

• Building #10 is a mid-rise apartment building containing 22 four-bed units, 15 five-bed units and 14 six-bed units. Also located in Building #10 are two units designed for hearing and visually impaired, and three units that are handicapped accessible.

•  Building #20 is a garden-style apartment building containing 8 four-bed units, 8 five-bed units and 6 six-bed units. First floor units are handicapped accessible.

•  Building #30 is a garden-style apartment building containing 10 four-bed units, 6 five-bed units and 6 six-bed units. First floor units are handicapped accessible.

•  Building #40 is a garden-style apartment building containing 3 five-bed units and 3 six-bed units.

•  Building #50 is a garden-style apartment building containing 12 six-bed units. All units have 2 double-occupancy and 2 single-occupancy bedrooms.

Building #60 is a garden-style apartment building containing 18 six-bed units. All units have 2 double-occupancy and 2 single-occupancy bedrooms.

Building #70 is a garden-style apartment building containing 6 six-bed units. All units have 2 double-occupancy and 2 single-occupancy bedrooms.

Building #80 is a mid-rise apartment building containing 22 four-bed units, 31 five-bed units and 14 six-bed units. Also located in Building #80 are four units designed for handicapped accessibility and one unit that is designed for hearing and visually impaired.

  • Single rooms: 9'7" x 12'10" in Building #10, 20, 30 and 40
  • Single rooms: 9'5"- 9'8" x 13'- 13'3" in Buildings #50, #60 and #70.
