On-Campus Organizations:

Hillel

Hillel is The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life. Hillel's mission is to enrich the lives of Jewish undergraduate and graduate students so that they may enrich the Jewish people and the world. KU Hillel welcomes an inclusive environment for Jewish college students, where they are encouraged to grow intellectually, spiritually, and socially. Kutztown Hillel meets at least once every month and helps students find a balance in being distinctively Jewish and universally human by encouraging them to pursue Tzedek (social justice), Tikkun Olam (repairing the world), and Jewish learning, and to support Israel and global Jewish peoplehood. Hillel is committed to excellence, innovation, accountability, and results.

The Kutztown Christian Fellowship (KCF)

The Kutztown Christian Fellowship (KCF) believes that everyone finds his or her greatest fulfillment in knowing and living for God. We want people to know the power of the gospel and the greatness of God's love for us. KCF has core values that describe what is most important for them and their mission. They believe that Scripture should drive all they do. Additionally, they believe that real unity is hard to achieve, but they labor confidently in Christ to attain it. Finally, they care for One Another. KCF holds weekly meetings.

Cru, the U.S. branch of Campus Crusade for Christ

Cru is a community where the gospel captures hearts, transforms lives, and launches men and women into a lifelong adventure with Jesus Christ. We love Jesus, plain and simple. It's because he is so great that we strive to be a community of students on a mission. This is played out by loving and serving others in various ways on our campus, in our community, and around the world. Founded in 1951, Cru has expanded to thousands of campuses in the US and to more than 190 countries around the world. We are excited to be a part of this great movement and trust that God will do great work at Kutztown for many years to come.

They believe that "In the Light promotes a judgment-free atmosphere while exploring and expressing our personal faith journey." The pure love of God is given to all and his powerful word is read and discussed every week after a delicious fellowship meal. All are welcome!

Newman Council

The Catholic Campus Ministry at Kutztown University works to passionately cultivate a heart for the campus, animated by the love of Christ and embodied by the community of believers in Saint Christopher Newman Center. The vision and calling of that community are to engage the campus in discovering the indescribable joy of life in Christ as it is found in the Catholic Church.

Catholic Campus Ministry at Saint Christopher is a ministry of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Allentown. Saint Christopher provides a variety of programs for Catholic students including daily and Sunday Mass, faith development programs, and opportunities for spiritual enrichment. All students are welcome to participate in the activities, programs, and services. Our goal is to incorporate religious beliefs and values into everyday campus life. The Newman Council meets once a month.
