Supplemental Funding Sources

The Kutztown University Activities Board (KUAB) is constantly looking for opportunities to provide programming opportunities that appeal to diverse audiences at KU.  KUAB can provide financial support for up to 50% of contracted cost of the entertainment portion of the event.  Guidelines and procedures can be found here.  Questions can be directed to kuab@kutztown.edu, 166 McFarland Student Union, 610-683-4097.

The United Greek Council can proved financial support for up to 50% of contracted cost of the entertainment portion of the event, up to a maximum of $250.00.  Guidelines and procedures can be found at https://engage.kutztown.edu/organization/socialgreeklife/documents/view/777840.  

PSECU offers a Social Responsibility Grant to any student organizations that are registered with the Office of Student Involvement for the current academic year.  The grant is focused on programming that will be giving back to the local or broader community by being a good neighbor/partner and promoting awareness on issues that will make a difference.  Grants will be awarded on a matching basis up to 50% but not to exceed $200 per event, with a maximum overall allocation of $400 per group, per year. PSECU offers a Miscellaneous Sponsorship Grant that will promote Kutztown University and PSECU to the university community and must benefit campus organizations.  Student organizations can apply for up to $500 per event/activity.  Guidelines can be found on ENGAGE early in the fall semester.   Questions can be directed to Kelly Ryan, KRYAN@psecu.com, 610-894-4814.

McFarland Student Union Advisory Board offers a grant to any academic department, administrative office, individual student or student organization the event must be open to the university community, held in the McFarland Student Union and support the its mission. Groups are eligible for up to $250.00 per event, per year, funds will be considered on a matching basis up to 50%. Questions can be directed to McFarland Student Union, 274 MSU, 610-683-4087.

Student Government Board has assisted student organization with financial support for programming, the organization would stop by the KUSSI office to sign up for a Budget and Finance committee meeting and submit paperwork explaining the reason for the request and the benefit to Kutztown University.   The organization would attend the B&F meeting explaining their request; the request would then go to the next SGB general board meeting for a vote.   Questions can be directed to sgb@kutztown.edu
