To the KU Campus Community:

I recently learned concern has been expressed regarding the inclusion of sexual orientation as a protected category in KU’s anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policies.  Let me unequivocally assert that at Kutztown University we value every member of our campus and this clearly includes sexual orientation.  Our recently completed Strategic Plan states: 

Goal 3 – Caring Campus Community
Kutztown University will value and respect all campus constituents, celebrate diversity, and embrace shared governance.

Please be assured sexual orientation will remain in Kutztown University’s policies. The KU administration is strongly committed to diversity and full inclusion and continues to work hard to keep it a priority for our campus community.
