Come and visit us at our Science Open House!! The B.S. program in Environmental Science at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania is designed to provide specialized training to prepare students to obtain employment as environmental scientists or for graduate studies in the natural or environmental sciences. The Environmental Science Program is an interdisciplinary program with a curriculum that is designed to provide students the opportunity to specialize in biology, chemistry, or geology. Students in the Environmental Science Program are encouraged to pursue internships for course credit, and are also encouraged to conduct research projects using the specialized facilities and equipment available in the sciences at Kutztown University. Many students are active in the Environmental Action Club, the student organization associated with the program. More than 175 students have graduated from the program since its inception in the early 1980's. Kutztown University Environmental Science graduates have been very successful pursuing careers in the environmental sciences. Kutztown University is a member of the Pennsylvania Consortium for Interdisciplinary Environmental Policy (PCIEP). | |||||||||
