 he Kutztown University Marching Unit has a great band tradition. Membership in the Unit gives you the opportunity to be part of a close-knit team. The KU Marching Unit provides
both musically and visually entertaining shows at pre-game and half-time, home and away football games, marching band festivals/competitions,
and the Annual Collegiate Marching Festival. The Band Front, consisting of Flags and
Sabers, is vital to the Unit along with the Band Proper and Percussion. Rehearsals for the 2011 season are
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3:00 to 4:20 pm.
All shows are custom designed to provide the highest quality entertainment for the audience as well as musical satisfaction for the members of the unit. At every performance the Marching Unit continues to provide enthusiastic support for the team and entertainment for the audience with both modern and traditional stands tunes. Being a member of the Marching Unit requires dedication and hard work, but being a part of a great marching unit can be one of the most meaningful and memorable parts of college life.
