The Anthropology and Sociology department at Kutztown University offers its students programs rich in diversity and academic potential.  

Students majoring in anthropology gain a broad and versatile understanding of human behavior and human biology, from ancient times to the present. Such an appreciation of what it is to be human is applicable to many different fields and jobs.

Sociology students gain an understanding of the diverse nature of society, especially in the United States. Our students learn about the causes of group behavior among men and women comprising various racial, ethnic and socio-economic groups.
