Biennial Faculty Exhibition


September 8 - October 3

An exhibition of recent works from over 40 faculty members from the Fine Arts, Art Education, Crafts and Communication Design departments. The Sharadin Art Gallery will officially be dedicated and renamed The Marlin and Regina Miller Gallery in honor of our donors who contributed to the Sharadin Art building renovation. Opening reception and dedication ceremony on Thursday, September 8, 4-6 P.M.



The Sight of Sounds: Larry Fink curates William Gottlieb and Larry Fink


October 13 - November 20

'The Sight of Sounds' will feature iconic photographs of America's cultural jazz heritage, from 1938 through 2006 by Larry Fink and William Gottlieb. Artist talk by Larry Fink, TBA. Opening reception Thursday, October 13, 4-6 P.M.



December Senior Exhibition


December 3 - 13, 2011

An exhibition of works in all mediums by the December graduates in Art Education, Crafts and Communication Design departments. Opening reception is Sunday, December 4, 2-4 P.M.



Artist in Residence


Residency Dates: January 9 - 25, 2012 / Exhibition on view: January 26 - March 2, 2012

Japanese artist Onishi Yasuaki will install a large scale temporary installation entitled Reverse of Volume. Public Reception is Thursday, January 26, 4-6 P.M.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT:


The Marlin and Regina Miller Gallery of Kutztown University presents significant and professionally executed solo and group exhibitions of contemporary art in a variety of mediums as well as supporting programs, events, and services that will directly enhance the artistic and philosophical development of our students and our community. We strive to challenge assumptions and stimulate discussion by presenting artwork and programs relevant to the social and cultural life of the general and special populations within our service area.
