The Sharadin Art Gallery at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania invited art critics Tom Csaszar, Robin Rice, and Miriam Seidel to identify two artists each who embody or point to a philosophical, aesthetic, or technological transition into the 21st century. The resulting group of artists produce stylistically and technically diverse works in a variety of mediums; some pieces have overt connections to a vocabulary of change while others address the notion of "future" primarily through metaphor. In all cases, the works offer exciting examples of current artistic expression and possibilities for the future.
