Dr. Logan is a former federal law enforcement officer, having started his career as a Special Agent with the US Drug Enforcement Administration. He served with several agencies including the US Environmental Protection Agency and the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission. He was a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Columbia and the Eastern District of Virginia, where he is presently admitted to practice law. He is also admitted to practice in numerous other courts, including the US Supreme Court and the US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Dr. Logan is a former US Army Reserve Officer, Major, Military Police Corps.; while with a USAR School, he taught Nuclear-Biological-Chemical Defense Courses. He also participated in curriculum development at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.

Dr. Logan is also a Consultant specializing in the investigation of Whistleblower Retaliation allegations and EEO concerns.
