AnnMarie Cordner joins the faculty in fall of 2008.

Prior to coming to Kutztown, Dr. Cordner taught at Temple and Niagara Universities. She worked as a criminal justice planner for the Kentucky Criminal Justice Council. Most recently, she led the research team of the Justice and Safety Center at Eastern Kentucky University, where she also taught classes as an adjunct member of the faculty.

Dr. Cordner is primarily interested in research that has direct implications for criminal justice policy. She has written about a wide range of topics, including the death penalty, comparative criminal justice education, technology in policing, and domestic violence. Her teaching interests include research methods, criminology, criminal justice planning and race in the criminal justice system.
