Audio Production

• Audio Post-Production
    The audio studio includes:
  • Tascam DA-88 digital modular multitrack
  • Tascam CD-RW2000 CD recorder
  • Tascam 122 cassette deck
  • Tascam 320 audio console
  • DVCPro VCR
  • Yamaha REV 7 digital reverb unit
  • Tascam DA-40 DAT recorder
  • Sony Minidisc recorder-player
  • iMac including:
    • Soundtrack Pro software
    • SmartSound

The audio-for-video post-production facility features digital multitrack recording equipment, a computer-based multitrack non-linear workstation, and audio-for-video synchronization capabilities.

• Basic Audio Production

    Each audio recording room includes:
  • iMac workstation networked to file server
  • Soundtrack Pro Software
  • Mackie Onyx 1640 audio console
  • Tascam CD160 CD Player
  • Tascam 112 cassette recorders
  • Tascam CD-RW2000 CD recorder

The Department houses two audio control rooms and talk booths that are used in TVR 050, Audio Production. Digital audio production is done on Macintosh workstations using Sound Track Pro software.
