Concomitant Courses

Among the requirements for the B.S. degree in Electronic Media is the completion of a group of courses in a concomitant area of study. This area of concentration is designed to supplement the Electronic Media coursework in a way that makes a graduate more marketable in the workforce. At a time when employees are increasingly expected to be able to "multi-task," a concentrated background in an area like public relations, business, or even meteorology (just three of the ten available concomitant areas) can prove to be a valuable asset.

The number of credits required for a specific concomitant varies from 21 to 27, all of which are applied to the 120 credits needed for the B.S. in Electronic Media. These are the concomitant areas:
