Environmental Action Club

The Environmental Action Club is the student organization affiliated with the B.S. Environmental Science Program. Although the club is affiliated with the Environmental Science Program, any University student interested in environmental issues is encouraged to join. The EAC meets to discuss current environmental issues of local, regional, national, and global concern. In addition the group is involved in numerous outreach activities, including on and off campus environmental education, fund raising for environmental concerns, and volunteer work at places such as Blue Marsh, Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, Nolde Forest Environmental Education Center, Rodale Institute Experimental Farm, and the Saucony Marsh. EAC members take advantage of opportunities to participate in regional and national environmental conferences. The Environmental Action Club also organizes an annual Earth Day celebration at Kutztown University.
