Harry Lynn Krizan has taught painting since joining our department in 1982. He received a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of California at Davis (1978) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Texas Tech University, Lubbock (1973). Professor Krizan's work has been featured in numerous exhibitions including recent solo shows at Gettysburg College, Gettysburg, PA (1999); and John Sloan Fine Arts Center Gallery, Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania (1998). Recent group exhibitions of Professor Krizan's work include "Traps" at City Without Walls exhibition space, Newark, NJ (1999) and "20X12: A Generation of Challenge Artists" at the Samuel S. Fleisher Art Memorial, Philadelphia, PA (1998). Professor Krizan's work is in the collections of Emporia State University, Emporia, KS; Atlantic Richfield Company, Los Angeles, CA; and Prudential Insurance Company of American, Newark, NJ. His work has been reviewed in the Star Ledger, Neward, NJ; and the Philadelphia Inquirer, PA. Professor Krizan has received Fellowships in the Visual Arts from the Pennsylvania Council of the Arts (1995 and '86) and Visual Artist Fellowship Grants from the National Endowment for the Arts (1985 and '82).
