Student Awards

Each spring, the Kutztown University Department of Geography presents five awards to outstanding geography students.  Below are descriptions of each of the awards and the names of recent recipients.
 

  • Delaware Valley Geographical Association (DVGA) Outstanding Geography Major Award
    • This award is given to the outstanding geography major and/or to the outstanding Secondary Education/Citizenship/Geography concentration major in the graduating class.

    • This award, given to an outstanding geography major in the Sophomore or Junior class, includes a $250 scholarship.
