Protection of Human Subjects
The I.R.B. reviews all research of both student and faculty, which involves human subjects.
It is the policy of Kutztown University that no research done under its jurisdiction expose persons who participate as subjects or respondents to unreasonable risks to their health, general well-being, or privacy. In addition such a policy serves to protect researchers in cases of liability.
The IRB reviews research, both student and faculty, which involves human subjects. The approval of the IRB is a requirement for research projects involving human subjects. Please click here for forms and additional procedures. A complete IRB application must be submitted to the Office Of Grants and Sponsored Projects.
