IRB Procedures Overview
  1. Obtain copy of protocol guidelines from Department Human Subjects Review Committee or from the Chair of the University IRB.
  2. Complete forms and information requested.
  3. Return completed forms and information to Chair of the University IRB.
  4. Chair decides if study is to be Exempted, Expedited, or Full Review.
  5. Chair notifies appropriate people, including principle investigator, of decision. Further action is then taken according to the policy adopted by the Senate.
