The following comments are from the students who attended the Summer
Music Festival in 2002.
Awesome week! The concerts every night were fabulous. I especially loved the master classes with Chris Lee and Simon Mulligan.
I enjoyed and learned so much. Teachers were amazing, very friendly people. I had a blast; will be back next year. Thanks again for letting me be a part of it.
The variety of activities was great! The positive attitude of the counselors and teachers was very encouraging-I could tell they really cared. Thank you for a wonderful experience and a great time!
The classes were excellent; they were very informational. This was the first summer program I went to so I hope everyone else's summer programs are just as good because I had so much fun! Thank you.

This was really fun, but I would have liked to have stayed longer, maybe two weeks.
I loved Theory, especially writing and performing our own pieces. Conducting was incredible, and I learned so much!
I like the freedom we have (i.e., few rules…); it's a nice display of trust. This place rocks! I'm coming back!
All staff members were extremely nice. I didn't meet one mean or nasty person this whole week. I especially liked rooming by myself.
It was a lot of work, but fun.
