Jamie is a Kutztown University Communication Design student now in her senior year of school. Ms. Meecham has played the role of 'creative consultant' for the Jazz Studies program since November of 2005.

While employed as a student worker at KU Rohrbach Library's Learning Technologies Center, she was approached by the Music Department's Secretary Christine Quinter to help create a design for the Department's annual Holiday Album. A few weeks after that, she was contacted by Kevin Kjos about designing the artwork for the Jazz Studies 2005 Holiday Album. With a time-budget of only a week, she produced what she didn't know would become the 'look' for the albums to follow.

In the months following, she's designed the Dance you Monster album, the Jazz Studies brochure and corresponding website (which you're looking at now), and the upcoming Rat Pack album, the Best is Yet to Come.

Jamie enjoys the opportunity to express the playful nature of the jazz world through her designs and plans to continue her freelance work for the Jazz Studies program after graduation.
