Recordings play an important part of our program. Jazz Ensemble I records each term of the academic year at the KU Department of Music recording studio. The CDs are engineered and mixed by Paul Wickliffe, owner of Skyline Studios and one of the most respected engineers in the country. Apart from recordings of material the ensembles present in concert, they also record albums on specific occasions or topics. |
