Notes:

  1. All Paralegal Studies courses are taken through Lehigh-Carbon Community College as part of a cooperative program of study. Paralegal (PLG) prefix courses may only be transferred to KU by students who complete this special KU-LCCC program.

  2. Departmental permission is required to take POL 370 and/or POL 390. (POL 370 may be taken twice for a total of 6 s.h.)

  3. Selected Topics courses (POL 371) may be taken more than once as long as the same topic is not repeated.

  4. Graduate courses at the 400 level are open to Juniors and Seniors who have a 2.9 QPA and have permission of the department.

  5. Any Required courses, Major Electives, or Concomitant courses taken as part of General Education may be cross-listed to meet requirements under Sections B and C. However, do not count the credit hours twice in the calculation of the 120 s.h. minimum for the degree. Credit hour deficiencies resulting from such cross-listing of courses may be made up by increasing the credit hours in Sections B & C. Credit hour deficiencies may also be made up in Section D by adding Arts & Sciences Electives beyond the 21 s.h. of required PLG courses.
