  • Course Descriptions - Use this link to read descriptions of courses offered at KU. Reading course descriptions may give you valuable insight about majors you may be considering or pique your interest in areas you may not have considered.

  • Informational Interviews for Academic Majors - To get a better understanding of what it will be like to major in a particular field, you will need to talk to people who really know– students and faculty who are currently studying or teaching in the major. Informational interviews are a great way to get practical information about a specific major. Follow this link for a list of sample interview questions.

  • Meet Our Mentors - Read profiles on our student mentors who entered Kutztown University (KU) as undeclared students and have since declared a major.  Learn about their experiences both as an undeclared student and in their chosen major.   

  • Internships, Volunteer Work, Community Service, Part-time/Summer Employment - Getting experience through internships, volunteer work, part-time and summer employment may help you determine the suitability of a particular major.
