Reading Area Community College is proud to host the 20th Annual Higher Education Council of Berks County Undergraduate Research and Creativity Conference on April 27, 2019. This annual conference is an excellent opportunity for students to present work that they have submitted for your courses. Students may submit traditional paper presentations, poster presentations, films, artwork, or performances for presentation at this year's conference.

The HECBC Conference honors the relationship between students and their faculty mentors, so please encourage your students to submit their work. Students will submit an abstract of their work, and we hope that you will help them in that process. We also hope you will also attend the conference with your students. Breakfast and lunch are provided to students and faculty. Registration for faculty and guests will open in March.

Participation in the HECBC Conference offers many benefits to students:

    • Gain valuable experience in presenting their work in front of a supportive audience
    • Enhance resumes for employment, graduate school, and/or scholarship applications
    • Build relationships with faculty mentors
    • Learn from other students' work and from the keynote speaker
    • Network with professors, other students, and members of the community
