WASHINGTON D.C. Trip
We're going on a road trip and you're invited!
Join the FDI as we explore the Frederick Douglass National Historical Site and other attractions at our nation’s capital. This trip promises to be both an educational and entertaining experience.
The trip to Washington, D.C. will be held Sunday, April 13. The cost is $10 per person.
The tentative schedule of event is listed below:

07:00 AM-Depart KU Campus-Lytle Hall Lot
10:00 AM-Arrive at Cedar Hill-The Frederick Douglass National Historical Site
10:00 AM-11:45 AM
· View the 17-minute film Fighter for Freedom
· Explore exhibits on Frederick Douglass
· Browse the bookstore
· 30-minute Guided Tour of Cedar Hill
11:45 AM-Depart Cedar Hill
12:00-3:45PM-Partipants are given the option of visiting the Washington Mall, The Holocaust Museum or the Smithsonian Museums. The bus will drop off and pick participants at one location
04:00 PM-Depart Washington D.C.
07:00 PM-Arrive at KU Campus
