Taking Credit Courses
If you are an adult learner interested in returning to education to
finish a degree that you started years ago, or if you need a degree
to enter a new career, the opportunities listed here may be for you.
Prospective students are not required to take admissions examinations
of any type, nor are they required to be high school graduates in order
to register for courses through Lifelong Learning. However, admission
to coursework at the University does not mean admission to a degree
program.
Those wishing to matriculate (be admitted to a regular degree program
at the University) are now required either: to possess a high school
diploma (or GED), or to have completed a total of 60 credit hours approved
by the Pennsylvania Department of Education before making application
to the University’s Office of Admissions. Grade reports are available
online or by written request to the Registrar’s Office.
