Administration of Lifelong Learning Opportunities

The Center for Lifelong Learning & Professional Development was originally created in 1972 in an effort to meet the educational needs of adult learners in the community. Today, the Center for Lifelong Learning & Professional Development, in conjunction with the academic colleges and schools of Kutztown University, designs and implements education programs for credit, certification, professional development, and personal enhancement. The Center supports the outreach and public engagement mission of the University by promoting lifelong learning for all ages through the development of diverse educational opportunities, commitment to quality, and dedication to service. Whether students wish to improve existing skills or to develop new ones, the Center offers a variety of ways to improve quality of life through education.

The Center for Lifelong Learning & Professional Development serves as a point of educational access for non-matriculated students, for people wishing to improve themselves through non-credit educational experiences, and for business, education, and social service organizations wishing to meet the in-service training and educational needs of their employees.

Ability to Customize Training Programs

Through the Center, Kutztown University has proven its ability and willingness to work with individuals, groups, and organizations to meet workforce training and educational needs in a variety of areas, including, but certainly not limited to, business, health care, and education.
