Dean's Welcome Welcome to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences' web pages. This site is designed to provide you with information on academic programs and also to give you a brief introduction to the College. The College's fifteen academic departments offer programs based in the rich liberal arts heritage of higher education. We offer traditional major programs as well as contemporary majors in technology-rich areas as well as interdisciplinary opportunities. You will find details on all these programs as you navigate the site. The strength of all the programs of our college lies in a dedicated faculty who have a passion for teaching and mentoring that touches students' lives as well as their minds. On behalf of the faculty and students that make up the College's academic community, I thank you for visiting us today. I also invite you to visit us in-person so that you can see first-hand how our students and faculty interact in our environment, and to get a better impression of our campus. Kutztown University, and the College of Arts and Sciences, is a wonderful place to take the next steps in your life. You will learn much more than a discipline at KU, you will acquire life long learning skills necessary to have a positive impact on the social, political, professional and ethical challenges of a contemporary society.
