Dr. Glenn Richardson Jr., political science, presented the paper "How Liberals and Conservatives Think: Evidence on Lakoff's Theory in the Rhetoric of Political Advertising" at the 64th annual national meeting of the Midwest Political Science Association, Chicago, April 2006.
Dr. Robert Ryan, psychology, presented the poster "Characteristics of Pictures of Insects Associated with Fear and Disgust" with student co-authors Joseph Cipko and Alyssa Rizzo at the 77th annual meeting of the Eastern Psychological Association, Baltimore, March 2006, and presented the poster "Global Processing Improves Self-Assessment of Face Recognition Ability" with students Renee Aulenbach, Morgan Becker, Thomas Johnson, Krysta Murray, and Jessica Bergmaier at the 18th annual convention of the Association for Psychological Science, New York, N.Y., May 2006.
