Viewing Videos
VHS Cassettes
VHS Cassettes can be viewed in DF 107B groups of 1-7 people or DF 109 groups of 8 or more. Both of these rooms are reserved on a first request basis. Faculty bookings do take priority but students may book on the same day as wanted.
North American DVDs
North American DVDs may be viewed on any computer (PC or Mac), or for groups of 2-7 people in DF 107B. For larger groups / classes, they can be viewed in DF 109. Rooms are reserved on a first request basis. Faculty have first priority, but students may request them on the same day as the booking.
Region 2 (Europe) and Region 3 (Asia) DVDs
Region 2 DVDs may be viewed on any computer (PC or Mac) using the VLC player. If viewing on a Mac, do not change the region of the computer. Leave the region settings window open, and simply start the VLC player, find the disk and click "Open."
For groups (any size) or classes, they can be viewed in DF 109 (also using the VLC player on the computer). Rooms are reserved on a first request basis. Faculty have first priority, but students may request them on the same day as the booking.
