The Kutztown University Model United Nations Club recently competed at Harvard University's World Model United Nations Competition in Puebla Mexico. This year approximately 1,800 students representing 42 different countries competed in the academic conference that simulated the United Nations and other international organizations. The goal is to follow the footsteps of the United Nations and find solutions to social and humanitarian problems facing the international community. KU Juniors Frauke Hentz and Gabriela Raful both won diplomacy awards (the highest honor given to individual students) for their work representing the country of Uruguay, and Kutztown University placed among the top 15 schools.
