The "Content" area contains course materials such as the syllabus, lecture notes, and assigned readings.

Accessing Course Content

  1. Click on the "Content" icon in the course Navigation Bar.

 

Viewing Course Content

After you enter the course content area, you will see the course's table of contents or a custom home page, depending on the design of the course.

  1. To view the course content, click on any of the listed hyperlinks. It is important to ensure that your browser's content blocker is turned off. D2L requires pop-up windows to display course content. If you do not see content when you click on an item in the table of contents, it is likely that your browser's pop-up blocker is turned on.

Use the icons shown below to:

  1. Show/Hide the content map in the sidebar.
  2. Open the topic in a new tab or window.
  3. Add or remove bookmarks.
  4. Print the topic or page you are viewing.

The "Bookmark" widget on the "Course Home" page displays bookmarked content.

  1. From the Course Home page, click on the bookmark to view the page in the Content Area.

 

The Bookmarks widget, shown below, is found on the right hand side of the "Course Home" page. This example contains a bookmark link to the course's Introduction section.
