Programs Offered
The Art Education and Crafts Department is committed to leadership in the arts through a wide range of programs. The Art Education programs include: The Bachelors of Science in Art Education for undergraduate students who seek certification to teach art in public schools. The Post-Baccalaureate Certification Program in Art Education for students with undergraduate degrees who seek certification to teach in the public schools. The Masters of Education in Art Education is for students seeking advanced level work in art education. Students may work on the Master degree and certification simultaneously. The Crafts program includes: The Bachelors of Fine Arts in Crafts for students interested in developing their understanding of Fine Metals, Woodworking, Fiber Arts, and Ceramics. The Crafts Minor for enrolled undergraduate students seeking a minor in crafts as part of their undergraduate course of study.
