Past AIGA events include the Designathon, Professors Exposed, Taking the Plunge, Return of the CD Grads, studio tours, and the AIGA barbecue. Check out the Events page for more information about what we’re planning for the future.

The first club for CD majors at Kutztown University began in 1993. The CAT club (Communication Arts Technology) was primarily technological in focus and interest. Around 1995 it evolved into a chapter of AIGA. In 1996 KU AIGA was the biggest student chapter in the United States.

Since then the organization has been host to numerous speakers, including more recently Chip Kidd, Ian Wisler-Poulsen, Matt Madden, and designers from Godiva and Hallmark.
