INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ORGANIZATION
OF KUTZTOWN UNIVERSITY
The International Students Organization is an exclusive body of international
students in Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. International students run the
organization. It is for the international students, the Kutztown University
community and the public at large.
International Student Organization has grown to become one of the primary
student bodies on campus. It has developed as a non-political body whose primary
goal is to be an effective avenue for addressing issues pertaining to the needs
of international students. International Student Organization seeks to work with
the university administration and various other departments and student
organizations to ensure that the welfare and rights of international students
are upheld during their course of study at the University.
International students are automatically members, and other interested people
can become associate members of the organization upon the interest of the
individual himself or herself. Membership is open to any student of the
university who is interested in sharing culture and tradition, learning about
other countries & international issues, and willing to contribute in attempt
to spread awareness of multiculturalism.
The International Students Organization promotes a threefold dimension of
international student welfare, which incorporates education, interaction and
representation as primary objectives for the international students who have
been legally admitted to pursue their education. Also, the organization strives
to bring multinational and multicultural awareness to campus and community,
organize programs to help appreciate the beauty of a diverse environment.
