About Us:
WELCOME!
KURK is Kutztown University’s newest group. It stands for Kutztown University Robotics Klub.
We are a student organization that began late in the spring semester of this year. We welcome students from all majors who are interested in technology and have an interest in robotics. Even if you have no experience with the robotics field, we encourage you to check us out if you are interested.
Stop by a meeting, you might like what you see!
We build robots for fun, as a means of teaching ourselves and advancing our own understanding of how the robotics field works.
Many of us are new to this, so please don’t be afraid to join, you won’t be alone! As of right now, we have students who have broken up into teams who have decided to work on specific projects. As a new member, you may join an existing team or start your own.
Our overall goal is to advance our knowledge and ability in programming these robots so we can enter contests where our robots can compete against robots built by students or groups of students from other groups or organizations.
The members of the projects decide what type of robot to build and when and where they will meet to work on it. As a group we hope to help other members in getting the right information and resources that they need to build the robots they want.
If you want to build a robot, this is the club for you, and we have the experienced members to help answer questions that you might have about your projects.
