KU Homecoming 2004
VMA has a tent at this year’s homecoming Tent City. We will be serving hotdogs,
hamburgers, chicken wings and refreshments to all our guests. We will have
“Support Our Troops” yellow ribbon vehicle magnets for sale and the PA National
Guard will be displaying some of the equipment currently used by our Armed
Forces. Please be sure to stop by, grab a bite to eat, and show your support
for our brave men and women in uniform.
- Veteran’s Day 2004
We are currently working with KU staff and the PA National Guard to have a color
guard and “21” gun rifle salute to pay tribute to our nation’s heroes on
Veteran’s Day. Preliminary plans call for the ceremony to take place at 1100 on
November 11, 2004 outside of the SUB by the flagpole.
- VMA
has visited retired veterans in personal care facilities throughout Central PA
and is in the process of planning another trip.
