About SIFE's Programs
Seeking Solutions Speaker Series
Kutztown University SIFE students are bringing students and business leaders together in a unique opportunity for business owners to both give and receive help with all their business issues and problems. Every month there will be a Seeking Solutions Speaker Series luncheon at Kutztown University. Business leaders from surrounding areas are invited to hear the speaker and network with the speakers and students.
Real World Results
SIFE is a non-profit organization that encourages students to focus on the following topics:
1. Understanding the market based economy,
2. Education and training for a competitive global economy,
3. Succeeding as an entrepreneur and business owner,
4. Developing personal financial management skills,
5. Making environmentally sustainable decisions,
6. Understanding business ethics.
Talented Teens
One way that SIFE students help is by developing and organizing presentations at area high schools on the six topics. During those presentations, the SIFE students will identify at least thirty "entrepreneurially talented teens" to be invited to an Entrepreneurially Talented Teen Camp at KU in the summer.
Again, business leaders will be asked to share their knowledge and experience by coming to speak to the entrepreneurs-in-training.
