Epsilon Epsilon in service

The Sisters of the Epsilon Epsilon chapter of Tau Beta Sigma serve many communities but most importantly our music department at Kutztown University, music in schools, women in music, and the community at large.

A few examples of our service to these communities include: assisting with KUMU bandcamp, ushering KU Music Department concerts and events, setting up and tearing down ensemble rehearsals and concerts, organizing and alphabetizing the music library, helping Girl Scout troops earn their Music badge, hosting bands at the Cavalcade championship show, helping local high schools with marching band and indoor colorguard/drumline shows, assisting with elderly residents at the Kutztown Manor, Relay for Life, and many other projects.

We also enjoy serving these communities at the aid of our brothers of Kappa Kappa Psi, Zeta Mu. Projects we take on together include the 3 miles of highway 222 behind Kutztown that we have adopted via the Adopt-A-Highway program, Operation Snowflake, running Music Major auditions for the department in the late fall and spring semesters, packing up the KUMU truck before and after each rehearsal and performance, and a variety of projects that require more hands to accomplish!

If you have a need for our service, or are interested in the programs we provide to assist Girl Scout troops earn their music badges, don't hesitate to contact us!
