Kutztown University's structural trades shop is comprised of skilled carpenters, painters, and a variety of multi-skilled craftspeople trained in basic masonry and other structural maintenance tasks. These dedicated employees maintain approximately 2,000,000 square feet of building space and building components. They repair windows, screens, doors, floors, furniture, walls, stairs, railings, partitions, and window treatment rods and fixtures, among other things. They ensure that the interior of buildings is aesthetically pleasing and furniture is appropriately maintained.
