The Kutztown University Key and Lock Office is responsible for instituting well planned and organized keying plans and systematic keying hierarchies on the campus of Kutztown University. Among its many responsibilities is the tracking of all keys, doors, door hardware and locking mechanisms in place on the Kutztown University campus to ensure compliance with the Kutztown University Key and Lock Policy (Policy #1994-108), which was drafted in 1994 and implemented in 1996.
In addition to maintaining cores, keys and other locking devices, the Key and Lock Office is responsible for maintaining panic hardware devices, padlocks, and other door hardware components.
