PROJECTS OUT FOR BID/RFP ************************************************************************************************************************************** KUTZTOWN UNIVERSITY Invitation for Bids Stratton Administration Center Data Center Upgrade and Renovation, KUCC-0080 Sealed bids will be received in the Facilities Project Services office, Room 229, I-Wing, Old Main, Kutztown University, until 2:00 PM prevailing time on February 14, 2012. Late submissions will not be accepted. The project consists of the renovation of a portion of the Data Center in the Stratton Administration Center. The work includes the removal and replacement of existing interior construction, finishes and mechanical and electrical systems, and construction of a new lobby, electrical room and equipment yard on the south side of the building. Work includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment, and performing all construction work necessary to complete the project. The work will be performed under separate prime contracts for construction which will include General Construction, HVAC Construction, Plumbing Construction, and Electrical Construction. A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held on January 24, 2012 at 1:30 PM in the McFarland Student Union Building, Alumni Auditorium, Room 183. Bids will not be accepted from contractors not attending this pre-bid conference. The work will be performed under separate prime contracts for construction which will include General Construction, HVAC Construction, Plumbing Construction, and Electrical Construction.
