The Kutztown University STEP (Student Tobacco Education Program) Team was established in 2003. The group's goals are to collect data about current tobacco use at Kutztown University and to encourage cessation and prevention of tobacco use on our campus and in our community. We are working closely with 12 Pennsylvania state schools as well as the University of Pitt-Bradford, the PA Department of Health, and other community organizations to achieve these goals.

Our mission is to empower KU's campus to choose and promote a tobacco-free lifestyle and environment.
