Kutztown University offers students the flexibility of adding funds to their School ID card.  This can be done in 2 different ways, Bear Bucks or Flex Dollars.

BEAR BUCKS - These are funds that are put on the students School ID card that can be utilized both ON campus and OFF campus.  For more information about Bear Bucks, their terms and conditions, and listing of venues and merchants, visit the KU Card website.

• Bear Bucks ON campus venues include, but are not limited to the campus bookstore and various eateries.

• Bear Bucks OFF campus venues are select merchants in town; such as local pizza shops, chinese restaurants, Sheetz, CVS, Weis grocery store and more!

FLEX DOLLARS - These are funds that are put on the student's School ID card that can be utilized at ON campus eatery locations only (not the bookstore).  All meal plans come with flex dollars in addition to the meals.  For more information regarding Flex Dollars, their terms and conditions, and listing of venues that accept them, visit the Meal Plans page of Dining Services.

HOW IS THIS DONE? - Adding either of these funds to your School ID account is EASY! 

• Deposits for FLEX dollars must be in $25 increments only. 

•  Deposits for BEAR BUCKS must be $10 or greater (whole dollars only). 

They can be made in person with cash or check, by mail with check, or online (not available 11/30/11 at noon - 12/2/11 at noon) through MyKU (starting Friday, Dec. 2, 2011 at noon)with Mastercard, Discover, or American Express, or E-check (ACH debit from a checking or savings account).

To process either request, the user will need the Student's ID#, and their Birthday!
