The Phoenix is a legendary bird which according to one account lived 500 years, burned itself to ashes on a pyre, and rose alive from the ashes to live another period.

The Phoenix Group is a recognized student organization of Kutztown University of PA. Any student interested in disabilities, disability services or disability rights and awareness is encouraged to attend meetings. Some of the previous activities of the Phoenix group included:
