The Office of Social Equity (OSE) serves Kutztown University by facilitating and supporting events, training and education that further the university's goals of equal opportunity and nondiscrimination. OSE is committed to serving the entire university community. Discrimination is prohibited on the basis of race, national origin, gender, religion, citizenship, sexual orientation, age, physical ability or veteran status.

In addition to monitoring the university's compliance with Affirmative Action and Equal Employment/Education Opportunity laws and regulations , the Office of Social Equity ensures the enforcement of nondiscrimination policies adopted by the university. These policies apply to various aspects of employment and student life. In the area of employment, the Office of Social Equity actively recruits qualified, diverse applicant pools for faculty and certain management positions. In addition, office staff participate in the hiring process to make certain the search and selection are equitable. As to student life, the Office of Social Equity addresses concerns related to admissions, financial aid, access to majors and courses, support services, housing and student employment.
