KUTZTOWN, November 13 – Kutztown University has appointed two new members to the Council of Trustees to replace open positions on council.

KUTZTOWN, November 12 – Kutztown University has announced its newest marketing office in Chennai, India.

DR. ELAINE WALLS REED RECOGNIZED FOR EXCELLENCE IN TEACHING AT KUTZTOWN UNIVERSITY 
KUTZTOWN, November 12 -- Dr. Elaine Walls Reed, professor of English and Director of the Women’s Center and Women’s Studies, received the 2007 Arthur and Isabel Wiesenberger Award for Excellence in Teaching at Kutztown University earlier this semester.

KUTZTOWN UNIVERSITY SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH LCCC FOR CRIMINAL JUSTICE BACHELOR’S DEGREE PROGRAM
ALLENTOWN, November 12 – Kutztown University President Dr. F. Javier Cevallos and  Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) President Donald W. Snyder signed an articulation agreement on Wednesday, October 31 at the Donely Center in downtown Allentown creating a LCCC-KU degree completion program.

KU EARLY LEARNING CENTER TO OPERATE IN 2008-09
KUTZTOWN, October 22 --- The Kutztown University Early Learning Center (ELC) will remain in operation for the 2008-09 academic year. 

KUTZTOWN UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCES FALL 2007 SCIENCE, MATH AND TECHNOLOGY OPEN HOUSE
KUTZTOWN, October 18 – Kutztown University will hold its open house for prospective majors in science, math and technology on Saturday, November 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Boehm Science Center.

ECONOMIC IMPACT OF BERKS COUNTY COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES TOPS $1 BILLION
READING, Pa., October 18 – Berks County, Pennsylvania, gains more than $1 billion in economic benefit annually from its five institutions of higher education.

HIV/AIDS YOUTH PREVENTION PROGRAMS AT KU
Kutztown, October 9 --- It is estimated that at least half of all new HIV infections in the U.S are among people under 25, and the majority of young people are infected.  Recently, it has been reported that 28,665 cases of AIDS are made up of people aged 20-24 in the United States.

KUTZTOWN UNIVERSITY JAZZ ENSEMBLE I CONCERT AND CD RELEASE
KUTZTOWN, October 1 --- October 10, 2007 at 7:30 pm at Schaeffer Auditorium on the Kutztown University campus Kutztown University Jazz Ensemble I will present a concert of tunes made famous by some of the great singers of the Great American Songbook. 

KUTZTOWN UNIVERSITY HOSTS SCHOLARSHIP BALL; FUNDS RAISED BENEFIT STUDENTS
KUTZTOWN, September 28 – Kutztown University’s annual President’s Scholarship ball will have a south of the border flavor this year.

KUTZTOWN UNIVERSITY TO HOLD FALL OPEN HOUSE
KUTZTOWN, September 25 --- Kutztown University will welcome prospective students and their parents three days this fall to visit the campus.

KUTZTOWN UNIVERSITY OFFERS FREE TESTING OF READING SKILLS
Kutztown, September 19 --- For parents whose child may take an extra long time to complete reading assignments, do poorly in subjects which require a great deal of reading, and is in 1st through 9th grade, the Graduate Reading Program of Kutztown University is offering a free assessment of reading skills and strategies.

FULL SLATE OF STUDENT ACTIVITIES PLANNED FOR FIRST WEEK AT KU
KUTZTOWN, August 22 -- With classes set to begin this Monday evening (8/27),
Kutztown University has scheduled a full slate of opening week activities for its returning students.
