Julianne Nolan,
director, Community Relations and Development Services, Division of
Student Services and Campus Life, became a member of Delta Mu Delta,
the national honor society for business administration at Alvernia
College, April 2008.
Dr. Christine J. Rhoads,
Department of Accounting and Finance, was appointed associate editor
of information technology on the editorial board of the juried
Journal of Business Management and Change.
Barbara
Schulman, Department of
Art Education and Crafts, had six textile artworks purchased by the
Lehigh Valley Hospital. A quilt and two textile collages are
displayed on the third floor of the Center for Advanced Health Care
and three textile collages are displayed on the fifth floor of the
Kasych Family Pavilion.
Dr. Teresa
Sychterz, Department of
Elementary Education, received a $10,000 grant from Verizon for the
Tenth Annual Kutztown University Children’s Literature Conference,
April 2008.
Dr. John
Walker, Department of
Accounting and Finance, received an Ambassador of Learning
Certificate of Appreciation from the Kutztown University Office of
Human Diversity, May 2008.
