A.    Academic Standards and Policy Committee

The committee will give a progress report on developing a plus/minus grading proposal. Even if the committee has a finished proposal for the Senate to consider, the Senate will not vote on the proposal on October 2 in order to give Senators an opportunity to consult with their various constituencies. The earliest a vote could take place on any plus/minus grading proposal is during the November Senate meeting so that the proposal is available for discussion for at least a week before the meeting (as required by Senate rules).
